Topographic Mapping consists of the location of natural and man-made topographic features such as buildings, fences, utilities, drives, etc. in order to produce a highly detailed map of the area. Topographic surveys are typically used for the engineering design of buildings, parking lots, roads, subdivisions, utilities, etc.
The following are some of the items that can be added to the survey:
- Generation of contours and or spot elevations.
- Mapping of underground utilities.
- Aerial photo overlay.
- Fully colored maps for presentations or advertisement.
